WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
We all understand that what makes us to freelancing is flexibility, again will mention De Tokios is not an online labour recruitment agency
It’s an online freelancer platform things do change and all the parties may choose to cancel the shift basing on different desires, yes it is a freelancer platform but these will be the procedures for the cancellation of the shift. Unless a different agreement is made between the client and the freelancer but the following policies will guide us on this platform Within the cancellation period.
the client and the freelancer can cancel the gig without any consequences within the cancellation periods stated below.Remember the employer sets the cansellation period of the shift in the terms and condtions or under the rules of appearance but this will all be done basing in the policies .Un like ather platforms we have set the limit to avoid cliet exploitation of freelancer.
The client can choose the ideal cancellation period when posting the gig.

Freelancers can see the chosen cancellation period in the description of the gig under the profile of the shift
You can match with or reacted to the shift right up until the gig start time. you will sometimes get a nofication if have been given a shift
If the cancellation period has expired,As you the freelancer can no longer cancel the gig without consequences. You should contact client and discus the fate if you can not show up for the shift to give them an opportunity to accept ather freelancers. If the clients files a no show , the freelancer will have to pay 100 euros as fine.
If you the client accept the gig late for example 1 hour before the beginning of the shift it will be a wise idea to communicate to the freelancer especially when the freelancer reacted to the shift a couple of days ago this will help you to know if the freelancer is passion to show up on time having been freelancers before late accepted shifts register the high chances of no show
If you the client cancels the gig on the platform in the last minutes lates say on the lastday of the shift , the frelancer will claim 50 percent of the payment of that shift . Unless there is an agreement between the client and the freelancer This will be considered a no show to the client, unless there is an agreement between the freelancer and the client
If you the employer do not cancel the gig on the platform and freelancer arrive at the gig, the freelancer is entitled to claim for the payment of the agreed hours.
This means the person as worked You can approve or decline the claim in ‘check hours’.
Important! Claims are automatically approved after 5 days.
If the freelancer cancels their match after the cancellation period has expired, they are obliged to arrange a replacement.
They must inform the employer abaut this .the employer a right to refuse and if so it means the freelancer has to appear on the shift or else pay fine
If the freelancer can no longer work the gig and does not arrange a replacement, if the freelancer does not show up for the shift and still fails to find a someone to takeover in anyway , he is obligated to pay the client a fine of equivalent to 100 euro
Unless un agreement are made between the freelancer and the client the mentioned above policies will guide us on this platform
